Road: Drive up yourself from Cairns, via the Old Telegraph Line, to Bamaga. The distance is 1045km, of which 800km are dirt. If time is not an issue, this is a great way to start your adventure.

Sea: Another alternative is to travel to Seisia by sea. Both our freight companies offer comfortable accommodation and good meals on their cargo ships. Travel time is approx. 48 hrs depending on tides.

Air: Air travel to the Cape is provided by two carriers,
Regional Pacific, and Qantaslink. Regional Pacific flies
directly to Injinoo Airport, a short 10 minute drive
from Bamaga. Qantaslink fly twice daily to Horn Island.
When flying with Qantaslink, it is necessary to get a
transfer back to the mainland via Peddels Ferries. This
is not difficult to organise, and can be a cost
effective method when making advanced internet bookings.
